What Richmond-Area Travelers Say
We drove up from Richmond on a Friday afternoon and were lakeside by evening. Spent Saturday at Monticello, came back to s'mores by the fire. The kids are still talking about it. Absolutely cannot recommend this enough.
We had no idea Wilderness Presidential was only an hour from Richmond. We spent a weekend doing Skyline Drive on Saturday and relaxing at the resort on Sunday. The cabin had everything — hot tub, full kitchen, fire pit. Perfection.
Took the Amtrak from Richmond — so easy. Grabbed a rideshare to the resort. Three days of kayaking, hiking, and amazing food we cooked in the cabin. This is our new annual tradition.
